It is essential now that all domains are protected by an SSL product (Secure Socket Layer). There are a number of choices, however, it is unlikely at this stage you would need anything other than a "Wild Card" SSL certificate.

The great news for you is that all our hosting packages come with a FREE SSL option which is easily activated with one click from your Domain Control Panel. You can always easily replace it with one of our priced SSLs at a later stage if you believe it necessary, for instance if you are setting up a large ecommerce shop.
